After a long morning of hoovering, tidying and cleaning up after Oliver, I finally had the chance to get myself ready. I really am dreading the days of nursery, I’m going to turn up half asleep and looking like a zombie!
We didn’t spend our morning/early afternoon doing much, Oliver and I went through his bedroom to choose which toys to keep and which to get rid off in preparation for Christmas. I felt awful as even though he doesn’t touch them anymore, he for some reason found them the best things in the world today, his room looks a million times better now!
Of course as I was tidying, Oliver was making more of a mess than there was to begin with – it was at this point I decided it was nap time. He didn’t fight it and fell straight to sleep and I got a chance to watch the latest episode of American Horror Story and Eastenders. Is anyone else watching AHS at the moment? I’d love to know what you think of the new season.
Matt was on his way home and I took the opportunity to cook dinner whilst Oliver slept as it’d take a while and his needed to cool down. We had chilli con carne (it wasn’t hot) and I didn’t enjoy it whatsoever, my appetite has nearly disappeared for some reason.. The boys enjoyed it though.
We had a few bits we had to do this evening so we started by taking Boas and Oliver to the park to burn off some energy, we then went to Pets At Home to get Boas’ food and popped into B&M (I love it there) to get some random bits.
Once we were home we got our pyjamas on, got settled and Oliver went to bed as it was pretty late. He’s fighting it tonight which is quite annoying as I know he’s so tired, why don’t children appreciate sleep?! I’d swap with him any day!
I’m going to catch up on the last episode of Hunted and probably fall asleep in the next hour or so.
Thanks for reading!
