We’re Worn Out

Hi everyone.

We had a really lovely day today. Oliver came in and woke me up at 8ish, waited patiently for his breakfast (usually he’s screaming like a cat being strangled) and let me tidy the house without making even more mess.

We had some family members over throughout the day and went to the park with my mum. It’s only about 10-15 minutes away but of course, it started raining whilst we were there. Luckily we’d been there a while and Oliver had his go on the swings so he wasn’t causing a scene but neither of us had coats with a hood, I think we were both quite envious of Oliver sat in his pushchair with his rain cover on. We met THE most gorgeous Golden Retriever puppy and it’s made me puppy broody.. Uh oh.

We made it back home, got dried off and said goodbye to my mum. Oliver had a quick lunch, a drink and went up for a nap with the new sleep time bear he was bought, he loves it. It plays the cutest little tune which even makes me (the queen of no sleep) sleepy!

I had some food and watched TV whilst he slept and had a little power nap before Matt arrived home. He sorted out dinner, Oliver woke up, we ate and went straight out. I love taking Oliver out before he goes to bed as he has an unreal amount of energy that needs to be burnt off and running around the park with a puppy GSD definitely does just that.

After about an hour we went back home, got our pyjamas on and got cosy and ready for bed time. Oliver is just about to go to bed and once he’s asleep I’m going to go and have some yummy pasta I bought earlier on and watch Matt play the PS4 for a while. It’s safe to say we’re all pretty exhausted.

I hope you’ve all had a great day!

Thanks for reading!
