Beautiful Sky

IMG_7338.JPGHi everyone.

We had a rushed start this morning and it took it’s toll on me. I don’t do mornings. We went to visit Matt’s relative as it’s his birthday which was lovely as we don’t get to see him often, Oliver enjoyed emptying his house of biscuits and bananas.

We had some other things to do and then went back home. We had our lunch and Oliver went to bed for his nap shortly after that leaving us with nothing much to do.. You know what that calls for, naps! Well, for Matt anyway. I opted for a relaxing bath with a Lush bath bomb (Monster Ball) which was amazing. I need to take time to relax in the bath more often rather than rush all of the time.

Once Oliver and Matt were up, we decided we’d go out for an afternoon walk before having dinner. We went to the park, Boas played fetch and Oliver done his usual stick collecting and had a lovely time watching the birds flying around and seeing the beautiful sky as the sun went down.

It was past our dinner time when we got home so I quickly got dinner sorted out so Oliver’s bed time wouldn’t be disrupted.. Not that he wanted sleep anyway. He makes it into a game of ‘I get out, you put me back’ over and over and over. Ugh. I’ve reached the point where if after a few tries he still won’t stay in bed, I leave the room and he will eventually go to sleep however it does make me feel awful.

Thankfully that trick worked tonight so I’m going to have a little browse through videos, blog posts and Instagram and hopefully have an early night.

I hope you’ve all had a lovely day today.

Thanks for reading!
