I’ll Miss This

AS

Hi everyone.

We started our day today by rushing around like blue arsed flies. We had a slight lay in, trust it to be on the day we had to leave early. Matt had an appointment at EE to upgrade his phone (slightly jealous) and straight after we had Oliver’s club, so being late made things manic. We managed it however, Matt got his Samsung S7 Edge and we went to Folk Week for the morning. I’m really going to miss this when this week ends and Matt goes back to work.

The club Oliver goes too was mainly aimed at older children today so we listened to some songs and done some dancing and decided to go to a different venue to see some of Matt’s friends for a while. We got some drinks and enjoyed the sunshine – we even took a picture together which is SO rare as Matt isn’t a selfie kind of person!

After having some food and Oliver having a slight meltdown due to being so tired, we went home. Oliver went straight to sleep, Matt sorted out his new phone and I started hunting for a stroller for little monster.

We’ve had a few pushchairs – Mamas & Papas Zoom, Cosatto Yo stroller and now the Cosatto Giggle but it’s getting too small for him as he’s a chunky boy. I’m considering the Joie Brisk but I could really do with some recommendations/reviews if anyone has any!

We spent the rest of the afternoon/evening pottering around, doing some housework, Oliver played outside with Boas and then watched Paw Patrol whilst dinner cooked.

I’ve noticed today that Oliver’s tantrums are getting less horrendous and frequent but what he’s doing when he does have one is getting worse. He’s started biting quite hard now which is awful, especially in public (and all looking). Hopefully that’ll soon stop as I look like I’ve been attacked by a small dog.

I still managed to put on a smile for a quick snap though.

I hope you’ve all had a lovely day today and if you haven’t, I hope tomorrow is a better one for you!

Thanks for reading!

  1. He’s like you, such a cutie, I’m also going to be needing a stroller soon for Joseph, not that pram savvy so I’ll just stick to a silvercross pop, I had the pink girls butterfly one for Holly, think they do a boys one X

  2. Lauren you describe the emotions so beautifully. I have been following your daily posts and I’m happy to read them. Keep doing the good work… I’m a fan of Oliver and Matt as well. Love this part specially…
